All good things must come to an end, and the Bridge-K kids wrapped up their year with a grand graduation celebration on July 24 (at the home of one of our families). They each wore hats of their own design--Clara's is supposed to be a parrot. Not sure what it most resembles, but she was pleased. Here she is with the other kids, primping before the performance. (Yes, I'm afraid that's lip gloss she's applying.)

They sang songs, including "Waltzing Matilda" and "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" ...

... danced the two-step to "Music Music Music" (Put another nickel in/In the nickelodeon) ...

...even played the recorder! (well, most of them did).

And they all received diplomas and heart medals and lots of other wonderful stuff. After all that discipline, they had to let loose! It was a most happy and tiring occasion.
